SAN BERNARDINO, CA (November 4, 2021) – Expanding its role as a source for action and adventure,
Chaparral Motorsports now provides even more family and leisure time opportunities by
carrying a variety of new and pre-owned golf carts from well-recognized manufacturer E-Z-GO. With
their compact size, easy drivability, and open-air design, golf carts have become hugely popular among
families of all sizes. Sitting alongside a bevy of cruiser, dirt bike, ATV, and UTV options, customers
can now explore and educate themselves on E-Z-GO’s Express, Liberty, Freedom RXV, and Valor lines

rear bench seat like a traditional four passenger vehicle. With its longer wheel base and extended body,
the Liberty allows all passengers to face forward for easy communication and comfortable seating
while still allowing for storage capability off the back of the vehicle. The Liberty is the only golf cart in
the new lineup that is only available as an all electric vehicle featuring E-Z-GO’s Elite Lithium
powertrain.
Equally as impressive as the selection of vehicle sizes and seating is the choice of power generation.
Depending on the model, Chaparral customers can select either an Elite Lithium powertrain, lead acid
batteries, or a golf cart with an EX1 gas engine.
Vehicles outfitted with the Elite Lithium powertrain benefit from Samsung SDI lithium batteries that
require zero battery maintenance unlike many traditional lead-acid batteries. Benefits of the Elite
Lithium package also include fast charging times, convenient anywhere plug-in/recharging of the
batteries, consistent power through the entire charge, and long-lasting power. The Elite powertrain also
features an 8-year battery warranty.
The AC motor on E-Z-GO’s 48-volt package is powered by four 12-volt deep cycle batteries and a 235-
amp solid-state AC controller. Combined with E-Z-GO’s patented Intellibrake system that provides
automatically applied parking brake and full-time regenerative braking, these models deliver longer
battery life, more efficiency, improved hill climbing power, and a great value.
For those that prefer the familiarity of a gas powered golf cart, E-Z-GO takes it to the next level with
its all-new EX1 engine to deliver top-rated fuel economy, a quiet ride, and smooth acceleration. The
fuel-injected powertrain also makes for easy maintenance and fewer parts to wear compared to
traditional gasoline-powered golf carts. Additionally, the EX1 works similarly to a hybrid engine by
auto starting and stopping when needed.
To go along with its assortment of brand new E-Z-GO golf carts, Chaparral also now carries pre-owned
models. From mild two-seat traditional style golf carts ready for a round of 18, to custom four-seat

Pre-owned models are powered by six 8-volt batteries to create a 48-volt package and come with a
charging unit so they can plug into any home electrical outlet for ease of battery maintenance or
recharging. Each pre-owned golf cart Chaparral touches has been thoroughly inspected and upgraded
with a new custom-colored vehicle wrap, new upholstery, as well as new tires and wheels. For a diverse
offering, some golf carts have been modified with lift kits, new body work with front and rear lighting,

been outfitted to carry four passengers with the addition of a rear facing bench seat that folds open to
